My local cinema(s) are not showing any of the films. How do I get them to show them?

Thank you for interest in the screenings. Unfortunately Shakespeare’s Globe does not decide the programming of where and when the films are shown. Please contact your local cinema and let them know that you would like the films screened there.

There is only one screening of this film, and it is in the middle of the day. I work full-time and cannot go. Why did you choose to programme it at this time?

The screening times of the productions are determined by the individual cinemas according to their schedules. If you are not happy with the programming please contact your local cinema.

There is one screening in my country/area e.g Scotland/North America/ South Australia, but it’s a big place and we need more than once screening.

We want to share our work with as many people as possible. Unfortunately Shakespeare’s Globe does not have complete control over the distribution of the films. We would encourage you to contact your local cinema and express your desire for them to screen the films.

There are no cast lists available at the screening. Why not?

The production of cast lists and other related materials is down to the individual cinemas. Please contact your cinema to request these materials. You can find a full cast list on the Globe on Screen website.

Will there be adverts/ anything screened during the interval? Last time I went there was just a blank screen with some music playing.

We have placed an interval clock at the end of the first half, which will countdown for 15mins until the beginning of the second half. However, it is entirely at the discretion of the individual cinemas to increase the length of the interval, even if the 15min countdown has expired.
